The questions that come up most, answered as briefly as they can honestly be.
Short answer. Laqfiz is a free shared record for money a community collects together. It does not move money — contributions travel the way they already do, and Laqfiz records them with receipts every member can see.

Most questions about running a community fund come down to three habits: set the amount and the date once, record what arrives the same week, and let members see the list. Nearly every difficulty people describe traces back to one of the three not happening.

Common questions
Is Laqfiz free?
Yes. No card, no member limit, no paid tier. It is funded by voluntary contributions from communities that find it useful.
Does Laqfiz hold or move our money?
No. Money moves between your members and your own accounts exactly as before. Laqfiz keeps the record and the receipts.
Do members need to install an app?
No. It opens in any browser from a link. Adding it to a home screen is one tap and entirely optional.
Can we use it for a committee where one person takes the pot each month?
Yes. The contributions are tracked as a monthly collection, and the hand-over of the pot is recorded alongside them.
What if a member pays in cash?
An admin records it against them, marked as recorded by an admin, so the history says how it arrived.
What does a member owe if they join mid-month?
By default they owe from the month they join. Whether they also owe earlier months is a setting the admin controls, off unless turned on.
Can an admin change history?
Approvals and rejections carry a name and a date. Nothing is quietly rewritten.
Who can see our community?
Only its members. Communities are private, and an invite link shows the name and purpose and nothing more.
Can there be more than one admin?
Yes, up to four. More than one is strongly advisable — a single admin is a single point of failure.
What happens when the organiser changes?
Add the new one as an admin, overlap, then step the old one down. The record belongs to the community, not to an individual.
Does it work in Urdu?
The interface is in English. The community name, description and every note you write can be in any language.
Can we export our records?
Yes. Your records are yours.
