Security and privacy in Laqfiz
A community fund record is sensitive in a specific way: it is about money, between people who will keep seeing each other.
Short answer. A community's records are visible only to its members. Payments and receipts are readable by the community they belong to; nobody outside it can reach them, including other Laqfiz users. Admins can approve and record; nobody can quietly delete history.
Who can see what
| Who | Sees |
|---|---|
| A member | Their own dues and history, the community balance, income and expenses, and other members' payment status |
| An admin | All of that, plus payments waiting, join requests and settings |
| Anybody else | Nothing. Communities are private. |
Money does not pass through Laqfiz
This is worth stating plainly because it changes the risk. Laqfiz holds no funds and moves none. Contributions go directly between your members and whatever account your community already uses. What Laqfiz holds is the record.
Accounts
- Email verification on sign-up.
- An optional PIN for opening the app on a shared phone.
- Access to a community only through an invite, approved by an admin.
Receipts
A receipt is attached to the payment it proves and readable by that community. It is not public, not indexed, and not shared with anyone outside the community.
Leaving and deletion
Payment history belongs to the community's accounts and stays there when a member leaves — a fund whose past entries vanish when somebody departs cannot be reconciled. Personal profile details are yours and can be changed or removed.
Common questions
Can somebody who is not a member see our community?
No. Every community is private, reachable only by its members. An invite link shows the community's name and purpose before somebody joins, and nothing else.
Can an admin delete a payment?
Approvals and rejections are recorded with a name and a date. The history is not something one person can quietly rewrite.
What happens if I leave a community?
Your payment history stays in that community's record, because it is part of the community's accounts. You stop seeing the community, and it stops being on your list.
Does Laqfiz hold our money?
No. Money never passes through Laqfiz. It moves between your members and your accounts exactly as it did before.
