What Laqfiz costs
Laqfiz is free to use. That is the whole pricing page, but it is worth saying what free means here.
Short answer. Laqfiz costs nothing. There is no card, no trial, no member limit and no paid tier. It is funded by voluntary contributions from communities that find it useful, and a community that contributes nothing gets the identical product.
Free means
| Communities | Unlimited |
| Members | Unlimited |
| Payments and receipts | Unlimited |
| History | Kept, and readable by every member |
| Card required | No |
| Trial period | None — there is nothing to expire |
How it is funded
By communities that choose to contribute something. There is a page for it inside the app. Nothing about the product changes either way — no feature is held back, and no community is reminded that it has not given.
Why free
Most of the communities this is built for are collecting modest sums between people who know each other, and charging them a fee to keep a record of their own money would defeat the point. Per-member pricing would also fall hardest on exactly the communities that most need an honest record: the large, informal ones.
Common questions
Will it start charging?
There is no paid tier and no plan for one. If that ever changed, existing communities would keep what they have and be able to take their records with them.
Are there ads?
No.
Is our data sold?
No. A community's records are that community's.
